Bible Comparison Tools
SESB 3.0 provides new features for comparing several Bible versions in one language. This makes your Bible studies more comfortable and more efficient
Compare Parallel Bible Versions Report
Choose the text you wish to use as the basis for comparison and then select one or more texts to compare to it. In each of the comparison texts the pink highlight indicates text that appears only in the base version and the blue highlight text that appears only in the compared version.
This unique tool is invaluable for helping you quickly see and understand the differences in modern language translations.
Bible Clusters Report
You can think of this as a bird's-eye-view of the information shown in the Compare Parallel Bible Versions report. It also serves as a navigation aid -- clicking on a version in the diagram opens the Compare Parallel Bible Versions report with the chosen version as the base and the others shown in descending order of similarity.
Bible Versions Difference Rivers Report
The Bible Version Difference Rivers Report shows you a visual "river" of the differences between Bible versions verse-by-verse over a Bible passage you specify.

The Bible Clusters report gives you a single two-dimensional view of the differences between all the versions for the whole passage; this report presents the difference of each version from a "base" version as it varies over the passage. The thicker the line, the more the version differs from the base. Just click the "river" for a different version to make it the base and recalculate the graph.
Compare Pericopes Report
The Compare Pericopes Report makes it easy to compare these textual divisions between as many or few Bible versions as you desire. It can be instructive to note differences in where pericopes begin and end, as well as the heading used by translators to describe each pericope.
