SESB compared to BibleWorks
SESB and BibleWorks are both software tools for scholarly Bible studies. They have many features and texts in common. However, there are many tasks that you can fulfil with SESB, but not with BibleWorks. Here are some examples:

BibleWorks does not include the critical apparatus on the BHS, Nestle-Aland, Greek New Testament, Septuagint and Vulgate. In contrast, SESB does not only allow to display the apparatus in parallel with the Bible text, but also to search it for manuscripts, witnesses and readings.
